
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Wednesday that Iran’s key nuclear facilities targeted in recent U.S. military strikes—Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow—“have been destroyed” and will “likely take years” to rebuild.
The statement followed widespread speculation about the effectiveness of the operation. Gabbard cited unspecified “new intelligence” as the basis for her claim.
The earlier DIA assessment had indicated the strikes may have delayed Iran’s nuclear efforts by only months. President Trump, however, referenced Israel’s Atomic Energy Commission, which stated the operation had achieved its goal.
