VeryDarkMan Reportedly Taken into Custody by Nigerian Police

The Nigerian Police Force has arrested Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), in Abuja.

The news was shared by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju,

Deji revealed that VDM was arrested at the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) headquarters without any lawful grounds.

He described the arrest as "absolutely unacceptable" and a violation of VDM's right to demand accountability.

According to him, VDM's only "crime" was demanding accountability, which is a fundamental right that should not be criminalized.

The lawyer condemned the action, stating that VDM spoke to the officers before being taken into custody.
