The postponement caused Take-Two shares to drop 8% in early trading. CEO Strauss Zelnick stated, “We support fully Rockstar Games taking additional time to realize their creative vision for Grand Theft Auto VI.”⁠

Despite the push, Take-Two reaffirmed its projections for record net bookings in both fiscal 2026 and 2027. Crowds filled the streets of Tehran on Saturday for the funeral of top Iranian commanders and nuclear scientists killed during a 12-day war with Israel.
