Lagos State is planning to introduce monthly and quarterly rent payment options to ease the burden of yearly rent on residents, especially low-income earners.

According to Housing Commissioner Moruf Akinderu Fatai, the initiative is part of efforts to make housing more accessible and affordable across the state.

The government is currently in talks with landlords and developers to ensure a smooth rollout, with a pilot phase expected soon.
