That’s just one line from an incredible review of If These Eyes Could Talk on Medium, and I’m still blushing.
This story started as a whisper in my chest — and now, it’s speaking loudly through the hearts of readers.
To everyone who’s read, shared, cried, laughed, and texted me at 2 a.m. saying “girl, this book?!” — THANK YOU.
If you haven’t read the review yet, go check it out. And if you haven’t read the book... what are you waiting for?

Running a business in Nigeria is not for the faint-hearted.
Running a company while managing six businesses? Even harder.
But if anyone is built for this journey, it’s me.
Yesterday, at the African Choice Awards, I was honored with the Female Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 award — and as I stood there receiving it, all I could think about was that eight-year-old girl who started it all.
At eight years old, after losing my father, I made a promise to myself — and to him — that no matter what, I would finish school.
With no parent to fall back on and no relatives stepping in, I turned to what I had: resilience, determination, and a drive to survive.
I began supplying mangoes and fruits from my father’s house to women in the market at wholesale, raising the funds I needed for my education, one sale at a time.
That young girl, who learned to fend for herself when the odds were stacked against her, has come full circle.
Today, I run multiple businesses, lead a company, and continue to chase the dreams that little girl dared to dream.
This award is not just a recognition — it’s a reminder: where you start doesn’t define where you’ll go.
Thank you to the African Choice Awards @africachoiceawards for this honor, and to every woman out there fighting silent battles and building dreams from scratch — this is for you.

I did a thing… and it’s inked forever.
My very first bookish tattoo—a love letter to the stories that shaped me, the ones I’ve written, and the ones still living quietly in my bones.
Thank you, Ultraverse Studios @lazy_artist1 , for bringing this dream to life with such artistry and care. Every line feels like a whispered chapter. Thank you for the gift of this tattoo.
This tattoo isn’t just ink—it’s a promise to keep writing, keep feeling, and keep telling the stories only I can tell.
Can you guess what the tattoos mean?

This Easter, I’m reminded of the power of resurrection—not just the one that happened thousands of years ago, but the quiet, everyday resurrections happening in the hearts of women like us.
To the woman who’s rebuilding after loss,
To the one nursing heartbreak in silence,
To the one daring to dream again,
To the one healing from things she still can’t talk about…
You are rising.
And that is holy.
Easter is a promise that light will always follow darkness, and that our stories don’t end in the tombs life tries to bury us in.
So today, I celebrate the risen Christ, and I celebrate YOU—strong, soft, scarred, growing, glowing.
May you feel the warmth of love, the comfort of grace, and the courage to keep blooming.
Happy Easter, sisters. You are so deeply loved.
