VDM made a video complaining about someone using his mother’s NIN to collect loan at GT BANK and the bank seems not to be happy about it . It is now a crime to speak about injustice in Nigeria .

Thousands of Nigerians are already getting ready to protest in front of GT BANK and shut down their accounts with them if they do not tell the whereabouts of VDM .

Moral lesson : VDM’s mum paying a loan that she didn’t take is scary . There was nothing wrong with her son speaking up .

VeryDarkMan Reportedly Taken into Custody by Nigerian Police

The Nigerian Police Force has arrested Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), in Abuja.

The news was shared by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju,

Deji revealed that VDM was arrested at the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) headquarters without any lawful grounds.

He described the arrest as "absolutely unacceptable" and a violation of VDM's right to demand accountability.

According to him, VDM's only "crime" was demanding accountability, which is a fundamental right that should not be criminalized.

The lawyer condemned the action, stating that VDM spoke to the officers before being taken into custody.

Details of the arrest are still emerging.

India has stepped up its efforts to tackle illegal immigration, with a special focus on Pakistani nationals living unlawfully in the country. The government has issued a strict warning that Pakistanis who fail to leave India before a set deadline could face up to three years in jail. In Karnataka, Home Minister G. This bill proposes even harsher punishments for illegal immigrants, including imprisonment for up to seven years and fines of up to ₹10 lakh for offenses such as overstaying visas or using forged documents. These moves highlight India's increasing commitment to strengthening border security and maintaining strict immigration control.

Morocco is facing international outrage after reports surfaced that the country plans to kill up to three million stray dogs as part of a massive “street clean-up” campaign ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which it will co-host with Spain and Portugal.
